The Cigna Close Care Plan is designed by Cigna to meet the needs of those who wish to have a reliable, private, global health provider but do not need worldwide cover.
This program is addressed to expatriates by covering them in two countries:
- in the country of their permanent residence
- in the country of their nationality (clause up to 180 days of hospitalization per year)
Therefore, if you plan to settle in a new country and you need coverage just within that country, as well as during travel time to see your family and friends back in your country of nationality, then this plan is relevant to your needs.
In addition, Cigna Close Care Plan covers emergency situations even when the policyholder is in an area other than the two countries of coverage (21 days per journey, with a maximum of 45 days for the policy year).
In addition to the Core Cover, you can also choose the optional Outpatient and Wellness Care and Dental Care and Treatment.
