Bupa’s Lifeline products, with three levels of coverage, are another Bupa UK product category.
In summary, these are:
- Essential, which includes only core (inpatient) coverage up to a maximum of € 2,500,000
- Classic, which includes inpatient and outpatient coverage up to a maximum of € 3,750,000
- Gold, which includes unlimited inpatient and outpatient coverage
These are the main features of Lifeline products:
- Insurance regardless the age
- Children from the age of 91 days can be insured on their own policy
- Free choice of hospitals
- Free choice of doctors and therapists
- It is possible to reduce the premium by selecting a deductible, but a large amount of deductible is not to the benefit of the customer in the case of classic and gold plans as they include outpatient coverage.
- Coverage for chronic diseases
- They do not give the option to cover pre-existing conditions with extra charge
- Childbirth coverage with 10 months waiting period (classic - gold)
- Routine Care Expenses for the baby
- Expenses for transplant services including costs for surgical grafting from the donor
